Repeat after me: "We are free."   Free to decide on our music style, our words, our work ethic… We play "for us' without settling of limits in our way of evolving. How does one understand the power of a band pushing a genre that receives little to no credit by the mainstream media? How does one gauge the implication of a band which tour almost never in the past? Since the beginning, the main objective hasn't changed: play fast, play hard without caring besides and never focused on success. Music, it’s all that we have… and for this understanding, we have the best fans in the world.   This year (2010) Forus recruited the talent of Bastien Lamarque (guitar), now entirely integrated beside Michel Garcia (vocals and guitar) and Rémi Lafargue (drums), the only two originals members. The most musically-evolved lineup they have to date.   The band has released a demo, "Start From Zero" (2005), an EP "Aaron’s Revolution" (2009), a split CD "Coalition" (2010) with over 5000 copies combined (Bells On Records). With the upcoming release of "We", Forus takes their first steps in Japan, Europe, USA.   After spending a few months developing their live show at home, they are ready to hit the road: Drive 'til we're empty, play 'til we can't, party 'til we sleep, and sleep 'til we wake -- Only to do it all again.   2011: Russian Tour, European tour with Millencolin, Mad Caddies, A Wilhelm Scream, The Flatliners, Mute, Nine Eleven, Straightaway,... Forus is now on Effervescence Records (Mute, This Is A Standoff, Uncommonmenfrommars, Red Light Flash,..).   2012: Time to record our new album with 10 brand new tracks and some goodies;) We absolutely want to plan a South American tour and say a huge "hi" to our buddies from U.K.   Story goes on...
