Ichu is a record producer and rapper from Sepang, Selangor. His interest in music began when he was in highschool. He formed the music group “Clumsygang” and began to make and release music with the name Ichu. He continued to release music as a solo artist and has since released mixtapes like “Hell Must Be Lit” and “God Makes Us Clumsy” in 2016 and 2017. Both his album “Heavensbaby” and "Museum" was released in 2019 and has received lots of praise from established music houses and recently dropped “Ini Kisah Benar” in 2021 which received international attention and even got nominated for album of the year in Taiwan. After the highly acclaimed album "Mania" in 2023, Ichu has gained major attention for his experimental brand of hip-hop, which incorporates elements of noise, shoegaze, folk and electronic music.
