Dr. Cat (born David Shapiro) is president, co-founder, executive producer and creative director of Dragon's Eye Productions. He is best known for creating the 2003 Independent Games Festival finalist[4] MMOSG Furcadia with game artist Talzhemir. In the game Furcadia his character goes by the name "Felorin". Furcadia holds a Guinness World Record for its longevity. He has worked (in various capacities) for Origin and MicroProse, among others. Notable titles he has significantly contributed to include the Ultima series. Dr. Cat also worked at Lolapps, Inc. on the game Ravenwood Fair. Dr. Cat currently works at Koolbit, where he works on the game 1Up Casino. He worked with 'Manda Dee and Jeff Dee to create DragonSpires.
