Summer 2008, in a small town of the derelict former mining region of northern France, a dirty blacksmith workshop where old yellowed posters of bands, babes and motorcycles,hang on the walls and the ground is covered with residue. A mixture of grease and dust, between old rusty mechanical parts scattered throughout, yet among this chaos...a strange creature is born. CHILDREN OF DOOM. Doom metal is not ONLY slow !!! But it is powered by the anger and despair and the lack of a clear vision for what the future holds in the society that they are a part of. Tetar (guitar & vocals), Vince (drums) and Ben (bass) decided to unleash their rage by mixing the heaviness of doom metal, the aggression in punk and the soulful feeling of blues. Children of Doom were able to blend all of this together and released "Ride Over the Green Valley" in 2009. This would be their first demo on the Peruvian label Capricorn Records, "Doom Freaks" in 2011 a split 7"ep with The Bottle Doom Lazy Band on Emanes Metal Records would follow, Armée de La Mort and Under Siege "Doom, Be doom ör F**k Off" in 2011 their first full length album on Emanes Metal Records is their most recent release. Children of Doom have performed many live shows and been fortunate to share the stage with great bands like, Wino, Lord Vicar, Spiritus Mortis, Vulcain, The Lamp of Thoth, Procession, Atlantean Kodex, Pyramido, The Wandering Midget... all throughout Europe.
