Pamela Thorby is one of the world’s great players of the recorder. A founding member of the Palladian Ensemble, Thorby is an artist who has produced a number of fine solo recordings that have been acclaimed for their engaging musicianship and technical brilliance. Her 2008 Linn label release entitled “Garden of Early Delights” was a successful collaboration with harpist Andrew Lawrence King. Their performance of works from the late-Renaissance and early Baroque is beautiful and poetic.
