Nenad Lecic, born in 1979 in Čačak (Serbia), took his first piano lessons in the age of five. Solo performances and concerts with orchestra followed from the age of eleven. In 1991 he was awarded as Young European Top Talent by RAI-TV, in 1992 he was the youngest student at the department of music of the University of Arts in Belgrad with Igor Lasko. He continued his studies at the music academy Cologne, completed by masterclasses. Early he gave concerts at the leading events on the Balkans such as BEMUS, NOMUS, Mokranjac-Tage with orchestras like Belgrad Philharmonic, Belgrad Radio Orchestra and various chamber orchestras. Nenad Lecic is now concerting all over Europe. Recently he appeared at the concert series “Atelier” in the Philharmonie Köln, the festival of contemporary music “Pianorama” by the WDR and the Klavierfestival Ruhr.
