Eberhard Schoener (born May 13, 1938, Stuttgart) is a German composer,conductor, arranger, and keyboard player.\r As a young man, Schoener travelled extensively through the Far East, and observed a wide range of religious as well as musical practices. This resulted in a conviction that all artists should embrace their own cultural heritage, but also be open to others. His music references and incorporates a wide range of influences and instrumentation, often merging non-European musical styles, natural and electronic sounds, voices, orchestral instrumentation, and rock instruments. His output varies considerably, with many diverse projects and events, and with no discernible trajectory of change over the years, making it difficult to summarise.
