"I Stay in Love" is a song written by Mariah Carey, Bryan-Michael Cox, WyldCard, and Roderick Hollingsworth for Carey's eleventh studio album, E=MC. Produced by Carey and Cox, it was released as the album's fourth and final single. The song was performed at the American Music Awards on November 23, 2008. Although the single has reached number one on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart, it failed to chart in the Billboard Hot 100, which prompted Island Def Jam to cancel any further singles from the album.
