The Blahqlyst Summer Tape, Vol. 2
The BlahqLyst (pronunciation: blacklist) is a Hip-Hop group that hails from Tarboro, North Carolina. They go by the names K.Freshh (age 19), and Trace (age 17.) Everything you will hear is self-produced, arranged, written and created by these two young men. Influenced by jazz, soul, funk, gospel, and new jack swing, they pride themselves on maintaining a high level of ethos and lyricism while creating a diverse musical palette for all consumers and listeners. They are both multi-instrumentalists and tastemakers, who express their passion for art through the chosen medium of music. These young men are both 2-time GRAMMY Foundation Camp Alumnus in which they were selected for Music Production, Songwriting, and Music Business. The BlahqLyst strives to create universal content that does one thing: progress the minds and attitudes of today’s society. They believe in purposeful, tasteful, and frankly, d**e art. Their motto is S.U.P™., an acronym for Spreading Unity & Positivity™. Album Mixed by: Peter Russo
