Disconnect's new release "Fragments" contains songs recorded during the original "Radio Hostile" sessions ("Radio Hostile" was the band's debut, released in May 2010). "Radio Hostile" had originally been conceived as a double-album with 23 songs. During the final mixing & mastering of that album, the band decided that a few of the songs didn't quite fit the overall concept of that release. So the band were left with 8 songs - essentially another album, already complete. "Fragments" serves as a nice companion piece to its predecessor. Where "Radio Hostile" was a true concept album - a quite dynamic and experimental piece of work - "Fragments" reveals the band's pop sensibilities and their ability to craft shorter, more concise songs.
