CHUM has added bass player Willy B (who, incidentally was CHUM’s #1 choice as a bass player, but because of prior commitments could not join CHUM on their first album.) And with the addition of Willy B churns out a more fierce, brooding, dark, energetic sound. ‘For Those About To Surf’ has a lot of influence on it. There are more dynamic arrangements, and although some of the tunes are slower in tempo, they are still quite intense.
