Song Writer HISTORY : I am the artist and coordinator of my mini-recording studio “DAYVY-RECORDS”. I have been ministering through music from my youth until present. I began singing at the age of six in a family group called The Davis Singers. I was the lead singer because of my voice and miraculous testimony. At the age of three, I was burned in a house fire. After the fire, the doctors suggested my voice was ruined; however, instead today I use my voice to glorify God. My voice was not ruined but God polished it through the fire. My genre of music encompasses Jazz, Blues, R&B, Rap, Hip Hop, Opera, and Bluegrass etc. the list goes on. To name a few of my favourite pastime and modern artists; the late Sam Cook, Donnie Hathaway, and Marvin Gay are a few artists that inspire my singing. Musiq SoulChild, Joe, and Tyrese are several modern secular artists I pattern myself after. I am at awe with their voice texture, voice techniques, voice control and lyric delivery of the music. Some of the lyrics I can do without but I can appreciate these artists’ gifts. Like these artists of old and new, I want to use my gift to touch the hearts of the people. The difference is that unlike many secular artists, I want God to get the glory out of my talent. It is my vision to sing all over the world and draw many to Christ through my inspiring lyrics and anointed vocal talent. I believe within my heart that it is a matter of time, and that is God’s timing, that the gift God has given me will make room for me to minister. HOBBIES: Fishing, Songwriting, Playing Instruments i.e. Keyboard, Drums In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering helping the less fortunate, also, reading and studying my bible.
