Last Man Standing (Explicit)
Man kind is Divine,” says local music pioneer, artist and philanthropist MKD whose unconventional view points and lyrics have ignited brushfires in the minds of many. Born on February 7th 1977, Marc Meyers was the youngest son of the award winning baritone singer Earl Meyers and beautiful loving mother Shirley, MKD was the nickname given to him by his brother and childhood friends. Growing up in Fresno California, hard work was the daily routine of country life which developed his physical strength at a young age, while growing up as a Christian began to develop his strength spiritually. But life is real and unrelenting. As he grew into adolescence the perfect world began to change and a cruel and much colder world emerged as he began to see the true nature of people, politics, religion, race and all other forms of arbitrary social control mechanisms of which he himself became victim of. Reaching critical mass at age 24 of the lies and deception, his perfect life had transmuted into the hellish eventuality of poverty, drugs, and crime which was expressed in his music as gangsta rap. And it was at this point that after a lifelong childhood friend, “Trot” was murdered, MKD was completely broken and found himself in a punctuated moment of an overwhelming, drug induced conniption in which he cried out “help me!…” Then suddenly a very strange yet immediate sense of calm became him. And it was from these first moments that a Divine connection was established with clarity and precision of perception. Answers to life’s basic questions and mysteries began to be answered through rigorous study and meditation. Information and life’s secrets began to become unravelled as the secrets of science and spiritualities’ greatest fundamental truth of unity was revealed. MKD who at one time was unknowing of what he was and was to be, had realized what he was and what we all are. “If you teach the world that they are sinners then you have a world full of sin. Yet if we actually teach the world that they are of the Divine then the world will know that man kind is Divine indeed.”
