Kasia is originally from Poland but lives in the States for few years now. She began her first piano lessons at six years of age. At seven, she began violin lessons and music theory. Surrounded by her supportive family, Kasia carried her musical dreams to America in 1993 to study music at Southern Utah University (Cedar City) The album "Lubie" contains original songs in her native language. It was dedicated to her older brother who inspired her in the "musical journey". He is gone now but his passion and love for the music stayed with Kasia. Today she enjoys playing music with her children, writing and performing own compositions. She teaches music (violin, viola, piano, guitar) Her lovely voice and haunting melodies are fond reminiscences of her early life with family and friends in a country far away from her current home in Washington State where she lives with her husband and children.
