Don’t Keep Love Distant is the first studio project for sisters Deborah (D’borah) and Michaiah. This album was written, composed and produced by the sisters with a little help from their mother. This project is God centered and introduces the new smooth “Smootsie” style of music to the music industry. This sister duo was officially formed in late 2012 by Deborah and Michaiah Smoots while stationed with their parents at Fort Hood Texas. Deborah’s and Michaiah’s passion for music was evident early in their lives. Both showed interest in writing, composing and producing music.
