The music you are listening to was improvised on February 3rd, 2013 on MacDougal Street in New York. We had never all played together before. The first note you hear was the first note played. Fifty minutes later we took a break, which is where the album ends. I named the pieces in tribute to five influential people who passed away between December 28th, 2012 and February 4th, 2013. The title of the album can be taken as a humble request at the moment of their crossing over. –Devin Brahja Waldman
