Over recent years, I have released many singles of many different styles. These are in addition to my two blues albums, but are all part of me, for there are no boundaries in my musical world and creating music is free flowing for me. I'm thankful for the support for my two blues albums and also for some of the singles here on this album which have been released from time to time. It felt like the right moment to put most of them all together in singles album named for the one new release on there 'Outside of Time, for in a way they represent me just as much as the blues albums do. From 'Earthcry' which I released as a single some time ago and which reflects my concerns and feelings for this beautiful planet of ours, through tracks such as 'Come Here To Me' and 'Over and Done' which are soulful and have a large electronic content, to my celebration of the joys of life in 'Good Day' and part of my life's journey reflected in the words of 'Silver Lining' and 'Which Way To The Light', all of this music is a huge part of me, all of it reflects something that happened somewhere, sometime as I moved along. I also chose to include 'This Is My Love Song' as this has become more and more popular, as has 'Hurting So Bad' and 'Losing You' which is a blues track that never made it on to one of the blues albums. And the last track on this album is in fact the new release - Outside of Time - chosen as the name of the album, I'm known as 'the soulful voice of blues' and am proud to have been over 5 years at #1 on Reverbnation for New Zealand where I live. I'm also extremely proud to be an inducted member and Ambassador at the USA Blues Hall of Fame and part of the team at the USA Women In Blues organisation. And I'm proud to bring my collection of singles to you here in this album. I hope you enjoy the journey that the songs represent.
