Luba Dvorak \" Parts for Sale\" \"It seems to me I\'m always one record ahead of myself. When I finish making one I already have an idea what the next one will be like. I had a bunch of songs that didn\'t fit the band and after my solo acoustic tour of Europe in the winter of 2001, I realized that I needed to make a record like \"Parts for Sale.\" These songs were mostly written on the road somewhere between Vancouver, Amsterdam, Prague, Las Vegas and LA. I did a lot of touring last year and we recorded these songs in between tours at home in Vancouver. This was the first recording I\'ve done that\'s all live-off-the-floor and will only record that way from now on. Everybody just got together at the studio in Vancouver, Allan (producer) threw up some mic\'s and pressed the record button. Kenny Aronoff (Mellencamp, Bob Dylan) played drums on half of it and as usual it was unreal to work with him again.He really makes you play better.
