The female fronted Svetlanas is the only European band on the American label Altercation Records. They have punk-rock written all over them and an incredible live energy. They can look back on 7 US tours, including concerts with bands such as The Dickies, D.O.A., The Discharge, TSOL, The Adolescents, and festivals gigs on SXSW (2012/2014) and The Upstart Fest (2013/ 2014). Svetlanas have been banned from Russia on September 2014. Malcom McLaren said: "They could have changed their aspect and accent but I swear on God that their approach to music is still gross and strong like a Vodka shot" Dying Scene stated "The most dangerous band in the world" Jannuary 2015 Svetlanas released "Hot War", a 7" Split records with punk rock legends The Adolescent. June 9th 2015, their new album produced by Blag Dahlia (The Dwarves) will hit the shelves.
