I really don't know what happened to this wonderful duo or why they broke up but when I heard The Braids' album for the first time I fell in love with their harmonies, their soulful interpretation of original songs and the covers they did ("Bohemian Rhapsody," "Young Americans," "The Wind"). There is a clean sound to their R&B/hip hop style that you don't hear on the radio these days. To be concise, it is true poetry set to music.
