Big K.R.I.T. dips his creative ladle into the muddy Mississippi water one mo’gin. Last year was an eventful year for Krizzle, finally making it the point that so many aspire to reach: a major label record. But, while some in the industry might see that as an opportunity to bask in glory, K.R.I.T. returns to the medium that made him, well, him. His latest, King Remembered In Time, is everything we want it to be: soulful and introspective in certain corners, loud and proud in others. Throughout the project, though, is the same Midas touch that we’ve come to know buddy by: nothing seems forced or unintentional, every track a memorable chapter in a great book.
