I wrote this song about 30 years ago as a young Christian wanting to experience a special praise to the Lord for his miracle working power. So I wrote "Miracle Coming Down" as a great way to express my gratitude and praise Him for the miracles told to us in the Gospels. His miracles are easy proof of His love and compassion for all. The wonderful thing about "Miracle Coming Down" is that it grew and matured with me as a growing Christian. As I began to understand and experience God's power in my life "Miracle Coming Down" became bolder and more fun to sing with my guitar. Then, in later years I needed to depend on God in ways I never before imagined. That's when God gave me the full "go ahead" to sing it how I was truly feeling the need for His miracle working power.
